The Virginia Tech Police Department is a nationally accredited, full-service law enforcement agency that is responsible for the safety and security of the campus community 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. The department employs over 54 sworn law enforcement officers, 8 security center representatives, and 8 full time security officers. The Police department is located on the Virginia Tech Blacksburg campus and serves more than 37,000 students, and countless visitors.
