Community Day
The Virginia Tech Police Department will host its annual Community Day celebration on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Students, employees, and the general public are invited to attend to learn more about the nationally-accredited police department.
The free event will take place on Virginia Tech's Drillfield and will include activities for all ages including:
- Doughnut eating contest
- "Dunk-A-Cop"
- Virginia Tech Police Department, K-9 Teams, Virginia Tech Rescue, Blacksburg Fire, Christiansburg PD, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Carilion Life-Guard, Galax Police, Virginia State Police, and Alternative Transportation.
